FDA Disclosure
The statements on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The products and information provided by Research Health Labs are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Research Health Labs is a research chemical supplier. We are NOT a compounding pharmacy or compounding facility as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, nor are we an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B. All products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use only — not for human or veterinary consumption.
1. Scope and Intended Use
All peptides, reference compounds, and related research chemicals supplied by RHL are sold and shipped exclusively as research chemicals for in-vitro laboratory research, analytical reference, and method development by qualified scientists working in appropriate laboratory facilities.
Products are not intended, sold, marketed, or fit for:
- Human consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any other route of administration to a person;
- Veterinary or animal use of any kind, including pets, livestock, or laboratory animals in vivo;
- Diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, cure, or prevention of any disease or condition in humans or animals;
- Clinical investigation in humans, whether or not under an Investigational New Drug (IND) application;
- Use as, or as an ingredient in, a drug, biologic, dietary supplement, food, beverage, cosmetic, or medical device;
- Compounding, dispensing, or pharmacy use of any kind.
2. Regulatory Status (FDA-Aligned Statements)
RHL products are research chemicals. They are not approved drugs under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FD&C Act") and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, identity, strength, quality, purity, or efficacy for any human or veterinary use.
Specifically, and consistent with FDA guidance and the FD&C Act:
- Not a compounded drug under Section 503A. RHL is NOT a state-licensed pharmacy or federal facility engaged in the compounding of drug products for identified individual patients pursuant to a valid prescription, as described in Section 503A of the FD&C Act. We do not compound, dispense, or fill prescriptions.
- Not an outsourcing facility under Section 503B. RHL is NOT registered with the FDA as an outsourcing facility under Section 503B of the FD&C Act and does not manufacture sterile or non-sterile drug products for clinical use.
- Not a dietary supplement. RHL products are not dietary supplements under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) and are not intended for ingestion.
- No therapeutic claims. RHL makes no claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease or affects the structure or function of the human or animal body. Any third-party statements suggesting otherwise are unauthorized and do not bind RHL.
Several peptides commonly studied as research compounds have been identified by the FDA as bulk drug substances that present significant safety risks or that the agency has declined to place on the 503A bulks list. Buyer is solely responsible for knowing and complying with the regulatory status of any compound they purchase, including applicable FDA, DEA, USDA, state, and local restrictions.
3. Buyer Eligibility and Representations
By placing an order, Buyer represents, warrants, and certifies that:
- Buyer is at least 21 years of age and has full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
- Buyer is a qualified researcher, scientist, licensed professional, academic, or research institution acquiring products solely for lawful, bona fide laboratory research;
- Buyer has the training, experience, equipment, controls, and facilities required to safely handle, store, and dispose of research chemicals;

- Buyer is not purchasing on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any person under the age of 21, any patient, any consumer, any clinic, any wellness or anti-aging practice, any gym or fitness facility, or any other end user that intends human or animal administration;
- Buyer's purchase and intended use comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and institutional laws, rules, regulations, and policies (including, where applicable, IACUC, IRB, biosafety, controlled substance, and import/export rules).
RHL may, at its sole discretion, request additional verification of institutional affiliation, research purpose, or regulatory status, and may refuse, limit, delay, or cancel any order without explanation.
4. Prohibited Uses
The following uses of RHL products are strictly prohibited:
- Administering or causing the administration of any product to a human being or to any animal, including self-administration;

- Use that violates the FD&C Act, the Controlled Substances Act, state pharmacy or practice acts, or any other applicable law.
Any violation of this Section is a material breach of this Policy and of our Terms of Service, and may result in immediate cancellation of pending orders, suspension or termination of Buyer's account, forfeiture of any refund or store credit, and reporting to applicable regulators or law-enforcement authorities.
5. Handling, Storage, and Disposal
Buyer assumes full and exclusive responsibility for the safe handling, storage, use, and lawful disposal of all products in accordance with applicable laws, the product's Certificate of Analysis (COA) and any safety data, and the Buyer's institutional biosafety, chemical-hygiene, and waste-disposal policies. Buyer agrees to:

RHL does not provide medical, clinical, veterinary, dosing, administration, protocol, "stack", reconstitution-for-use, or therapeutic information of any kind. Our staff is not licensed to practice medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or veterinary medicine and will not answer questions of that nature. Any such request will be declined. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
7. Marketing and Communications
All RHL product listings, marketing copy, and educational content describe products solely as research chemicals for laboratory use. We do not make, and we do not authorize any reseller, affiliate, influencer, or third party to make, any claim that a product is safe or effective for human or animal use, that it diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease, or that it affects the structure or function of the human or animal body.
8. Export, Import, and International Use
RHL ships within the United States only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with all applicable U.S. export controls and the import, customs, controlled-substance, and research-use laws of any jurisdiction in which Buyer subsequently uses, transfers, or possesses the products. Re-export or re-shipment outside the United States without proper authorization is prohibited.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties (Beyond Identity and Purity)
Except for our published identity and ≥99% HPLC purity specifications as supported by the product's Certificate of Analysis, all products are supplied "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose (including any human, veterinary, clinical, or therapeutic purpose), non-infringement, or any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. No employee, agent, or representative of RHL is authorized to make any contrary warranty.
10. Assumption of Risk; Indemnification
Buyer knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risk associated with the receipt, handling, storage, use, and disposal of RHL products. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buyer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RHL, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, suppliers, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, suits, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Buyer's breach of this Policy; (b) any use, misuse, transfer, or administration of products in or to any human or animal; (c) any third-party claim based on Buyer's resale, redistribution, or marketing of products; and (d) Buyer's violation of any law or regulation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RHL's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any product or this Policy is limited to the amount Buyer actually paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. In no event will RHL be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, lost profits, or loss of data, regardless of the theory of liability and even if RHL has been advised of the possibility of such damages. These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
12. Cooperation with Authorities
RHL cooperates with the FDA, DEA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, state regulators, and law-enforcement agencies. We may disclose order and shipping information in response to a valid legal process, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent a violation of law or of this Policy.
13. Acknowledgment at Checkout
Before completing a purchase, Buyer must affirmatively check the acknowledgment confirming Buyer is 21+, is acquiring products solely for laboratory and research use, and accepts this Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Disclaimer. The acknowledgment is recorded with the order.
14. Updates to This Policy
RHL may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued purchase or use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
15. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.
